New Versatility in Rising Barriers
With over 35 years of experience, and thorough knowledge of the access control industry, Automatic Systems has manufactured over 60,000 rising barriers sold in more than 15 countries. All of that expertise has culminated in the design of the versatile BL-229. It was created to adapt to variety of security applications.
This latest model combines all the knowledge and know-how that was used in creating the 30 different models put out by this industry leader and with it makes a giant leap into product standardization, versatility and reduced delivery times.
The BL-229 is designed with versatility in mind! Field modifications are quick and easy, making it a flexible security solution for vehicular traffic. The BL-229 has three major factors that make it adaptable and worth considering when purchasing a rising barrier…First--experience has taught AS that situations change. Boom (Arm) lengths can be changed without difficult mechanical assemblies and with only a slight variability in its very fast one second opening, operating speed. Other gate operators require difficult adjustments and replacement of springs, weights and balances making it hardly worth the effort. The BL-229 can easily be adapted to any length arm from 7 feet to 20 feet. Second—Switching the gate’s orientation from left to right once required additional parts, and laborious assembly time. With the BL-229, the switch has been calculated into the design and can be done with relative ease. Even with faster delivery times this easy conversion makes stocking gates something to consider. Third, is a combination of environment and aesthetics--the new BL-229 rising barrier is built to resist extreme weather, violent winds, sub-zero temperatures, snow and rain. The innovative design of the new barrier easily merges into the landscape while the totally redesigned drive mechanism ensures fast movements at almost undetectable sound levels.
Automatic Systems’ barrier gates are designed to restrict vehicular access into critical areas or locations that might be susceptible to un-authorized access. A large range of additional accessories (rigid or flexible skirts, electromechanical or electromagnetic locking tips, flashing lights, stop signs, and many other options) can equip the BL-229 to comply with the main objective: "One model…All applications."
